Edo Guber: Akoko-Edo APC Chieftain, Adewumi, Donates N3M for Ward-to-Ward Campaign

As part of his continuous show of support, Mr. Humphrey Teddy Adewumi who can best be described as a pacesetter in Akoko Edo in terms of support base for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 21 September gubernatorial election, has donated the sum of 3 million naira to the party’s campaign and was immediately credited into the party’s account.

While making the announcement through, Hon Benjamin Olajina, former Member of Edo State House of Assembly who also doubles as the Director General of the party campaign council in Akoko Edo Local Government Area, who announced the amount on behalf of Humphrey said “The purpose was to ease and support the party in their proposed ward-to-ward rally”.

While, also appreciating Mr Humphrey, the local government party chairman, Hon. Monday Oseh commended the unflinching support of the donor which he described as a motivating factor. He therefore called on other party leaders and stakeholders to emulate the young entrepreneur’s love and support for the APC as the election draws closer.

Recall, that the donor had in recent times contributed in several ways ahead of the gubernatorial election. In a telephone conversation with journalists, Mr. Humphrey Teddy Adewumi also known as Ted-Force said “This donation is a testament to my unwavering commitment to the APC cause, and I call on all our supporters to rally behind the party and its candidate to guarantee victory. I shall not relent, I will continue to give the much-needed support until victory is attained”.

The generous donor, philanthropist, technocrat and great mobilizer also gave out cash donations of two hundred thousand naira to party members for entertainment. His philanthropic gesture has provided a significant boost to the party’s campaign efforts in Akoko Edo Local Government Area.
