The member representing Esan South-East/Esan North-East federal constituency in the House of Representatives and frontline aspirant for the Edo Central Senatorial Seat, Hon.Odi Okojie has called on all Esan sons and daughters to close ranks, unite and pull resources together to development Esan land and its people.
Hon. Okojie stated this in his 2024 seasonal and Christmas message to Esan people. He urged Christians to use the season of the birth of Jesus Christ who came to redeem mankind to pray for the unity of Esan people irrespective of religious or political persuasion as unity is the bedrock of development of a people.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us use the opportunity to reflect on the purpose of Christmas and the redemption of Esan Land that will happen with selfless service, love for one another and work together to liberate Esan Land and our people from poverty, Underdevelopment and make Esan Land a place for everyone to thrive.
“There is strength in unity and I urge everyone irrespective of religion affiliations and social status to work together to build a better community.”
He said it was imperative to pray for Esan redemption in the spirit of Christmas season, stressing the need for Christians to forge lasting relations with other Nigerians while wishing them a blissful Christmas celebration.
While stressing the imperatives of prayers in the redemption of Esan land and the enthronement of a regime of selfless leadership in Edo Central Senatorial District, Hon.Okojie urged Christians to forge a cordial and lasting relationship with other Nigerians and people of diverse faiths.
