Since Nigeria return to democratic rule in 1999, one factor that has always influenced decisions making in regards to choosing who get what and how in the allocating of political positions and offices were leaders from certain extractions, reason why words like ” The leaders have spoken” became a reoccurring decimal In our political space.
Things seem to have taken a different dimension in the past one decade, with women and youths now becoming more interested in who represents and governs them, moreso the women and the youths themselves have since got involved in decision making alongside our elders.
For sure these three factors have become an integral part in our democratic process and to this end has become a variable tool in our political ambition and aspirations, in other words if you intend to seek any political office, you must have these three factors rooting for you.
In recent times only few politicians have enjoyed this formidable force as it is often said that “Who the elders choose they pray for, who the women backed never fails and above all, who the youths choose they work for”.
It even becomes more of a movement when these three forces stand with a perfect fit aspiring to occupy any position at any given time, which brings us to the discuss of who’s fit for the Edo Central Senatorial Seat.
One name that has continue to echoe across the senatorial district is Hon. Prince Odianosen Okojie, the member currently representing Esan South-East /Esan North-East federal constituency.
No doubt, Prince Odi Okojie is one person that has showed sufficient evidence in practical governance, as he has always provided tangible people focused projects which is scattered across his federal constituency.
He has as well shown that he has a clear cut understanding of providing true representation for his people, which is a clear evidence that if given the opportunity to occupy the Edo Central Senatorial Seat, he will replicate same in the entire Esanland which is the reason why these three factors that have earlier been spoken of is rooting for Hon. Prince Odi Okojie.
It is on this note we are appealing to the leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Edo Central Senatorial District to take cognisance of the women and youth factor that are currently rooting for Prince Odi Okojie, so the party can have a smooth election, as it is crystal clear that the entire Esan people are yearning for the kind of good representation that Odi Okojie has been providing for his federal constituency.
Support, nominate and vote Hon Odi Okojie for Senate, Edo Central Senatorial District.
