The desth has been announced in Benin City of nonogerian and ex Auditor General of Edo State, Local Government, Mr. Eugene Olotu.
In a statement signed by Mr. David Olotu of the Olotu family of Uselu, Benin City and made available to newsmen in Benin City states that burial arrangements will be announced later.
According to the statement, “With heavy hearts, but gratitude to Almighty God, the Olotu Family of Uselu, Benin City, announces the transition to eternal glory of their esteemed Father and Patriarch, Mr. Eugene Ivbievbiokun OLOTU ( JP, BKA), former Auditor-General (Local Government) of Edo State, at the age of 90 years.
“Until his death, he was an astute Politician, and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress Party in Egor LGA, Edo State Chapter, as well as, a renowned community leader.
“May his gentle soul rest in peace.
“Burial arrangements will be announced later”, the statement added.
