The Advisory Board, Management and Staff of Independent Television and Radio have congratulated the newly appointed Acting Managing Director of Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS), Festus Alenkhe describing the appointment as well-deserved and a recognition of exemplary leadership in the media industry.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Managing Director of ITV and Radio, Edwin Edebiri Obaseki, the organization said the appointment did not come as a surprise, noting that Festus Alenkhe had distinguished himself through professionalism, courage, and unwavering commitment to the growth of journalism and the welfare of media practitioners in Edo State.
ITV and Radio particularly highlighted the achievements recorded so far as the Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, stating that his leadership strengthened the relationship between media organizations and the union while advancing the interests of journalists across the state.
The organization expressed confidence that the new Acting Managing Director would bring the same spirit of collaboration, innovation, and purposeful leadership to Edo Broadcasting Service, adding that his wealth of experience would contribute significantly to the continued development of the station.
The Advisory Board, Management ITV and Radio further assured him of their continued support and cooperation as he assumes the new responsibility and wished him wisdom, strength, and outstanding success in steering the affairs of the Edo State-owned broadcasting outfit.
