UBIAJA, EDO STATE — The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State has congratulated Hon. Tega Patrick Amiegbebhor on his swearing-in as Chairman of the Esan South-East Local Government Council, describing his emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his loyalty, dedication and capacity for service.
Amiegbebhor was sworn into office on Friday, September 4, 2026, by the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
The APC, in a statement signed by its Esan South-East Local Government Chairman, Elder Goddy Obainoke, on behalf of the Local Government Executive Committee and party faithful, expressed confidence that the new Council Chairman would provide purposeful, inclusive and people-oriented leadership.
Obainoke said Amiegbebhor’s emergence reflected the confidence reposed in him by both the party and the people of Esan South-East, urging him to use his new position to promote peace, development and improved welfare across the Local Government Area.
